The Plano based clinic after switching over from paper records to electronic medical records, was able to improve its efficiency and productivity, the clinics choice of initiating the use of Medent Practice Management software for electronic medical records had most of the features that would allow them to access the patient information with ease. The “Chart Central” feature allowed the clinic to review and update patient’s information, enter charges, and schedule appointments. Likewise the “Patients Chart” allowed the clinic to store Patient’s medical information in a customized format.
The only feature of bother was the voice recognition software, this optional module included in the EMR did not provide them with the desired results, the medical reports generated by the voice recognition did not have the accuracy levels the clinic was anticipating, increased efforts at using the software failed to yield any results, in desperation the clinic started looking for alternatives, and that’s when Medical Transcription Service started assisting them by logging into their systems with a Login Id and a Password. |
